About The Position
A. Duie Pyle is hiring an experienced, motivated full-time CDL-A Night Shuttle Driver in Maspeth, New York. The driver operates a day cab tractor pulling a 53-foot trailer between Pyle terminals, completing overnight trips between company locations. The position is home daily and works Monday through Friday on an overnight schedule. The role pays $36.65 per hour, with weekly pay every Friday by direct deposit and overtime after 40 hours. Drivers are responsible for protecting the tractor and freight, following FMCSA safety regulations and guidelines, and completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
- Hazmat endorsement required to start.
- Tanker endorsement required to start, or willingness to obtain it within 90 days.
- At least one year of recent tractor-trailer experience.
- Currently hold, or obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
- At least 21 years of age.
- No more than three moving violations and/or accidents within the last three years, subject to review.
- Ability to communicate effectively and read, write, and speak English.
- Ability to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance.
Responsibilities

- Complete overnight trips between various Pyle locations.
- Ensure the security and safety of the tractor and freight, adhering to FMCSA safety regulations and guidelines.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
