About The Position

Oak Harbor Freight Lines is hiring a local pickup and delivery (P&D) driver to transport freight using tractor-trailer combinations between terminals or meet points. The role requires safe, efficient driving in varying road and weather conditions, with chaining as needed. The position is home daily. Experienced drivers may earn up to $34.41 per hour, with overtime after 8 hours. Weekend or night availability may be needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Hold a Class A CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Double/Triples endorsements.
• Have at least one year of verifiable commercial driving experience with similar equipment.
• Hold a valid DOT Medical Certification.
• Have a clean driving record, with no DUI, reckless driving, or positive drug/alcohol screen in the last 3 years.
• Effectively communicate with customers, co-workers, and dispatch/managers.
• Have basic English proficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication.

Nice To Haves

• Doubles/triples and chaining experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
