About The Position

NIS Express is hiring experienced CDL-A drivers in Conyers for a local Atlanta container account. The position keeps drivers busy throughout each shift and provides daily home time, with no overnights in the truck. Routes remain within the Atlanta metro area, with approximately 2,000 local miles per week and several container connections each day. Day or night shifts are available. Average weekly gross compensation is $1,400.

Requirements

• Class A CDL.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• At least 6 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• Live within 50 miles of Fairburn, Georgia.
• Have no more than 2 moving violations in 2 years.
• Have no major preventable accidents in 5 years.
• Have no DUI/DWI in 5 to 10 years.
• Pass hair and urine drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Move containers between rail ramps and customer locations.
• Handle drop and hook, live loads, live unloads, and preloads.
• Inspect chassis and equipment before every move.
• Keep accurate electronic logs.
• Work weekends as scheduled.
