Local CDL-A Shuttle Driver – $70K + $5K Bonus
About The Position
Earn an average of $81,000 per year hauling intermodal freight on daily runs between Indianapolis and Chicago. Enjoy daily home time, approximately 2,000 miles per week, and a $10,000 bonus. Online orientation is available, and drivers receive additional pay for customer loads, rail delays, detention, and other qualifying moves. The main yard and starting location is Indianapolis, IN 46221, where drivers report to the Indianapolis terminal daily for dispatch and truck assignment. Routes run to Chicago and back, with additional local work within a 100-mile radius of Indianapolis.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable truck-driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
- Hazmat endorsement required within 60 days of hire
Responsibilities
- Haul intermodal freight on daily runs between Indianapolis and Chicago.
- Perform additional local routes within a 100-mile radius of Indianapolis.
- Report to the Indianapolis terminal daily for dispatch and truck assignment.
- Slip-seat and receive truck assignments at the terminal.
- Operate tractors that stay at the yard during time off.
