About The Position

This position is for Local CDL-A Intermodal Drivers in the Kansas City area. Drivers on this account will haul containers between the rail yard and customers within the metro area, starting and ending their shifts close to home. The freight is no-touch, primarily drop and hook, with some live loading and unloading. Drivers can expect to log around 1,100 to 1,300 miles per week within the region.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum of 3 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years.
• No major preventable accidents in the past 5 years.
• No DUI or DWI in the past 5 to 10 years.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Ability to pass a hair and urine drug screen.
• Must live within 50 miles of Edwardsville, KS.

Responsibilities

• Pick up at the rail ramp.
• Run loads within the Kansas City metro area.
• Haul containers between the rail yard and customers.
• Perform drop and hook, and some live loading and unloading.
