About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated CDL-A Intermodal Driver for our local fleet. This position offers 100% home daily, with start times between 2 PM and 7 PM. You will be responsible for transporting containers within the regional metro area, ensuring you can sleep in your own bed after every shift. This role provides consistent daily routines and high weekly earnings with no-touch freight.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL and current DOT Medical Card.
- Must reside within 25 miles of the dispatch yard.
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- Solid driving record.
- Clean work history.
- Mandatory drug screening.
Nice To Haves
- Hazmat Endorsement preferred.
Responsibilities
- Handle container transport across the regional metro area.
- Operate within a 150-mile radius of the yard.
- Perform regional hub drops, including runs into other yards.
- Mount containers onto DOT-legal chassis at the ramp.
- Manage occasional 30 to 60-minute wait times for "flips" at the ramp.
