About The Position

This dedicated local CDL-A intermodal driver position operates out of the Avenel Hub, offering daily home time. Drivers will run regional intermodal container routes and return home after every shift. The role features 100% no-touch freight, including drop-and-hooks and preloads. Routes cover NJ, PA, NY, CT, and MA, with a strict avoidance of NYC. Schedules are volunteer-based on major holidays.

Requirements

• Class A CDL.
• 6 months OTR experience within the past year OR 12 months in the last 5 years.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Avenel, NJ (Zip 07001).
• Must pass DOT physical plus hair follicle and urine drug tests.
• Open to day or night shifts (Sun–Thu or Tue–Sat).

Responsibilities

• Run regional intermodal container routes.
• Return home after every shift.
• Handle 100% no-touch freight, including drop-and-hooks and preloads.
• Cover NJ, PA, NY, CT, and MA.
• Completely avoid NYC.
