CDL-A No touch freight

CK TransportationMobile, AL

About The Position

Mobile-area CDL-A truck drivers can average $1,350–$1,500 per week running no-touch regional dry van freight with a full 48-hour reset every other weekend. The fleet operates on a structured 12-day cycle with average hauls of 700–750 miles and a majority of drop-and-hook freight, providing a straightforward regional position with steady mileage opportunities. Drivers work a 12-day operating cycle followed by a guaranteed 48-hour reset every other weekend. This schedule provides a defined home-time routine while allowing enough time on the road to build consistent regional mileage. Loads are coordinated in advance whenever possible so drivers can transition from one assignment to the next without unnecessary gaps between trips. The freight is regional dry van with a high percentage of no-touch loads. Most shipments are drop-and-hook, with some live unload deliveries depending on the customer. Average haul lengths of 700–750 miles provide longer runs rather than relying entirely on short trips and frequent stops. The fleet consists of 2021 or newer Freightliner and Kenworth tractors with automatic transmissions. Equipment includes APUs, inverters, refrigerator space, and TV and microwave mounts for additional comfort while away from home. Preventive maintenance is performed on a regular schedule to help minimize equipment-related downtime. Drivers may take their assigned truck home for scheduled resets when safe parking is available. Approved parking locations are also available when taking the truck home is not an option. Rider and pet programs are available for eligible drivers after approval. Dispatch and maintenance support are available throughout each trip for load coordination, routing, and equipment needs.
