About The Position
Local Class A CDL truck driver position based in Tacoma, Washington, delivering building materials—including concrete, fiber products, and siding—to customer locations throughout Washington and Oregon. The role uses flatbed and curtain-side trailers and offers daily home time on a Monday–Friday schedule, with early starts between 3:00 AM and 5:00 AM. Drivers receive assigned automatic day-cab equipment, and trucks remain at the facility during time off. Flatbed experience is preferred; training is provided for flatbed and curtain-side trailer operations. Compensation is activity-based and includes mileage and stop pay. Advertised average weekly earnings are $1,450–$1,460, with annualized earnings of approximately $76,000 based on prior driver results; earnings are not guaranteed. A limited-time $10,000 sign-on bonus is subject to eligibility. New-hire training pays $200 per day, and eligible holidays pay $200. Paid online orientation is provided. Two openings are available.
Requirements
- Class A CDL.
- Ability to perform load securement, including strapping and occasional tarping.
- Ability to install tire chains when weather conditions require.
