About The Position

NIS Express is seeking entry-level CDL-A drivers for dry van routes primarily east of I-35 in Texas. This position is ideal for individuals who have recently completed truck driving school and hold a valid Class A CDL. The training program ensures drivers are well-prepared for solo operation, focusing on safe driving, ELD compliance, inspections, and communication.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL license
• 21 years of age or older
• Clean driving record
• Must clear DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen

• Recently completed truck driving school

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A tractor-trailer within all DOT regulations
• Haul dry van freight mainly east of I-35
• Hit delivery windows and maintain strong on-time performance
• Keep ELD logs, DVIRs and all trip paperwork accurate and current
• Complete thorough vehicle inspections before and after every shift
• Stay in clear professional contact with dispatch and customers
