CDL-A Dry Van Driver
About The Position
Albany Trucking is hiring a CDL-A Dry Van Driver for regional dry van freight, primarily east of I-35. The role offers planned regional routes and an average of 1,800–2,400 miles per week, with freight handled through a combination of drop-and-hook and live unload. Drivers receive a weekly 34-hour reset and may extend home time when scheduling allows. Drivers can take the truck home with approval or park it at a terminal during home time. Pay is $1,475 to $1,585 per week, with additional compensation available through CPM pay, detention, short-haul, breakdown, and stop pay. Modern dry van equipment supports the regional operation. Health insurance, life insurance, a 401(k), rider and pet policies, and a fuel card are available.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A (Class A) license.
- At least 12 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years.
- Experience driving across three or more states.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
