CDL-A Dry Van Driver
About The Position
This regional position offers consistent freight and strong weekly pay for CDL-A drivers operating within the Western 11 states. Drivers can expect to drive 3,000-3,400 miles per week with 100% no-touch dry van freight, including a large percentage of drop-and-hook loads. The equipment provided is late-model International LT trucks with 71-inch sleepers, automatic transmissions, APUs, and inverters. The hiring area is Salt Lake City, UT 84101, and drivers will be home every 7-8 days for a full 48-hour reset.
Requirements
- CDL-A license.
- At least 6 months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
- Ability to meet safety and driving standards.
Responsibilities
- Drive 3,000-3,400 miles per week.
- Transport 100% no-touch dry van freight.
- Operate late-model International LT trucks with 71-inch sleepers and automatic transmissions.
- Utilize APUs, inverters, and space for a refrigerator.
- Maintain equipment through Penske's nationwide maintenance network.
- Use advanced ELD technology.
- Support fuel efficiency and the company's fuel bonus program.
- Haul freight throughout the Western 11 states.
- Complete a full 48-hour reset at home every 7-8 days.
