Drivers receive $650 per week during 4 to 6 weeks of training, then a guaranteed $1,000 per week for three months after going solo. After that, average weekly pay is $1,200 to $1,800, with an additional $15 for each extra stop. Freight travels throughout the United States east of Denver, excluding New England and New York City. Loads include drop-and-hook and live loads. Drivers are home every two weeks. Orientation lasts two days or less and pays $300; bus fare is reimbursed and lodging is covered. The fleet uses late-model Freightliners. Pets and riders are allowed after training.
