This entry-level CDL-A driving opportunity is for drivers who have completed CDL school, including trainees. Drivers receive paid training with an experienced mentor for 4 to 6 weeks, followed by a solo phase with guaranteed weekly pay for 3 months. Drivers haul dry van freight primarily east of Denver, excluding the Northeast, and are home every two weeks. Once settled in, drivers average $1,200 to $1,800 per week. The fleet consists of late-model Freightliner trucks averaging about 1.5 years old, with automatic and 10-speed transmissions. Pets and riders are allowed after training. During training, drivers are paid $650 per week and receive $300 in orientation pay, with bus fare reimbursed. During the solo phase, drivers are guaranteed $1,000 per week for 3 months, typically driving 1,800 to 2,900 miles weekly; each extra stop pays $15. Medical, dental, and vision coverage begins after 30 days. Additional offerings include a 401(k), a stock purchase program, and free online college for the driver and one dependent.
