About The Position
Drive dedicated Target routes from Stuarts Draft, Virginia, hauling dry freight on consistent regional routes. The position averages 1,900 miles per week and includes weekly home time for a 34-hour reset. Most deliveries are drop-and-hook, though some small-format stores require driver unloading assistance. Drivers operate modern automatic-transmission trucks. A truck may be taken home along the route within 35 miles of the last delivery if parking is safe and secure. The account operates 24/7, including holidays, and drivers must be available for both day and night shifts. Deliveries cover Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and the Washington, District of Columbia area. Average pay is $1,522 per week (approximately $79,170 per year), with top weekly pay of $1,820 (approximately $94,663 per year). Pay is mileage-based, and bonus incentives are available.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- No SAP drivers.
- Clean driving record.
- DOT Medical card.
- Able to work weekends.
- Reliable and safety-focused.
Responsibilities
- Haul dry freight for the dedicated Target account on regional routes.
- Complete deliveries across Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and the Washington, District of Columbia area.
