About The Position

Earn an average of $1,900 per week hauling dedicated refrigerated retail freight from West Jefferson, OH, with routes to Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Enjoy 2–3 days of home time weekly, a 34-hour reset, and additional pay opportunities for stops and detention. The main yard and starting location is West Jefferson, OH, with loads starting and finishing at the West Jefferson facility. Some shuttle loads originate from shuttle points in Whitestown, IN, and Demotte, IN. This is a dedicated refrigerated retail freight position involving preloaded tri-temp and dual-temp reefer trailers. The role includes a mix of shuttle runs, full loads, and store deliveries, with most stores unloading the freight while drivers observe. Inner-city deliveries may require the use of lift gates and pallet jacks. Routes include downtown Chicago and surrounding suburbs, and drivers will haul 28-foot and 53-foot trailers. The operation runs 24/7 with overnight shifts, and current operating hours are approximately 9:00 PM–12:00 PM. Runs are seven days a week, and days off are not fixed. Drivers will have home time 2–3 days per week and a 34-hour reset.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 3 years of driving experience
Clean driving record
Valid DOT Medical Card
No SAP drivers
Must be able to handle delivery requirements, including using a lift gate and pallet jack when needed
