About The Position

This position is for CDL-A drivers in Central Pennsylvania who know the Susquehanna Valley and I-80. It offers a steady paycheck for newly licensed drivers. The training period involves riding with an experienced driver and running real freight, with weekly pay. After training, drivers get their own truck at full mileage pay. For the first 3 months as a solo driver, pay is guaranteed at $1,000 a week. Loads run along the eastern seaboard, averaging around 2,000 miles a week in dry van (drop and hook, with some live loading/unloading). Drivers can expect to be home every 2 weeks. Average weekly pay is $1,000 to $1,200, with starting mileage pay at 55 cents per mile, increasing with experience up to 65 cents. There is also stop pay of $15 and a monthly performance bonus for safe, on-time drivers.

Requirements

• Class A CDL
• At least 21 years of age
• Completion of 120+ hours at an accredited CDL school, OR 6 months OTR in the last year, OR 12 months OTR in the last 5 years
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years
• No major preventable accidents in 5 years
• No DUI or DWI within 5 to 10 years (depending on CDL date)
• Ability to pass DOT physical and hair and urine drug tests
• Must live within 200 miles of Harrisburg, PA

Responsibilities
