About The Position
This position is for a CDL-A Driver in Valdosta, GA. It offers guaranteed weekly pay during training and a competitive average weekly pay once solo. The role involves mixed lanes and customers with steady freight, including live loads/unloads, preloads, and drop and hook. Drivers can expect consistent weekly mileage and will be home every two weeks. Day and night dispatch are available, and working weekends/holidays is voluntary.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current DOT medical card
- At least 21 years old
- Clean MVR and background check
- Pass hair and urine drug screen
- 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school required
- New CDL-A holders welcome, or 6+ months verifiable solo experience
- Teams and owner operators welcome
Responsibilities
- Drive a commercial vehicle
- Pick up and deliver freight
- Perform live loads, live unloads, preloads, and drop and hook
- Maintain consistent weekly mileage
