About The Position

We are seeking experienced CDL-A drivers for a semi-local lane running between California and Nevada. This position offers consistent miles and a predictable work schedule, with potential for layovers during peak seasons. Drivers will be responsible for safe operation of the truck, adherence to schedules, and handling of freight. Weather-related duties such as chaining tires may be required.

Requirements

Minimum 21 years old.
Valid Class A CDL.
Current DOT medical card.
3 months of verifiable and recent trailer driving experience.
Good employment record.
Clean driving record with no more than 2 accidents or violations in the last 3 years.
Drug-free status; SAP candidates are not accepted.

Responsibilities

Operate a commercial truck in a semi-local lane between CA and NV.
Complete approximately 2,175 miles per week.
Adhere to a Tuesday to Saturday work week with shifts starting between 22:00-23:00 (10-12 hour days) or 19:00-21:00 (11-12 hour shifts).
Manage potential layovers during Costco's busiest season and regional shifts, with hotel/motel provided.
Chain tires as weather dictates.
Navigate alternate routes and handle forced layovers if Donner's Pass is closed due to weather.
