About The Position

The CDL A Driver is responsible for local driving, passenger safety, vehicle inspections, and general warehouse work. The role requires following company policies and procedures and complying with applicable DOT regulations. Employment is contingent on favorable employment verifications, an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR), and regulated drug and alcohol screenings. Selected CDL holders must complete a formal DOT application for pre-screenings.

Requirements

• Valid CDL A license.
• Comply with all DOT guidelines for drug and alcohol testing.
• At least 1 year of CDL driving experience.
• Ability to speak and comprehend English, Spanish, or both.
• Ability to sit, stand, or walk and to see with or without corrective lenses.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Drive defensively, ensure passenger safety, check mirrors, and follow applicable regulations.
• Load and unload and perform general warehouse work.
• Conduct daily vehicle-condition checks and ensure the fire extinguisher is current and operational.
• Work with the area manager and/or HR department to address driving issues or concerns.
