About The Position

The Roll-Off Driver safely, efficiently, and courteously provides waste removal services to customers across multiple lines of business. The driver collects waste from customer sites and transports it to post-collection facilities for proper disposal. The position operates a roll-off truck and equipment while following safety procedures, documenting routes and inspections, maintaining equipment, and reporting issues or hazards. The role requires outdoor work in varying weather conditions and overtime as required.

Requirements

• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are required.
• A valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.
• Ability to safely maneuver and back up 120 or more feet, and operate heavy equipment in tight or high-traffic areas.
• Ability to repetitively lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors up to 100% of the time in varying weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of Roll-Off experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a roll-off truck and equipment to collect waste while following all safety procedures.
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, daily truck reports, and route documentation.
• Immediately report mechanical issues, potential site hazards, or incidents to supervisors.
• Maintain clean equipment and follow route quality standards.
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Attend safety and branch meetings.
• Work overtime as required.
