About The Position

Central Transport is hiring experienced CDL-A drivers at its Brook Park terminal. The posting describes both day-shift local and night-shift linehaul opportunities. Drivers work with consistent LTL freight and combine driving with forklift and dock operations. The night linehaul role operates within approximately 250 miles of the terminal and returns home daily. The day local role operates within approximately 60 miles of the terminal, averages 8–12 stops per day, and is also home daily. The posting advertises increased pay rates, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, weekly direct deposit, a newer truck fleet, and a full benefits package. Requirements

Valid CDL-A license.
At least 6 months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
HazMat and Tanker endorsements, or willingness to obtain them within the first 60 days of employment.
Acceptable motor vehicle record.
No DUI within the last 5 years and no more than 1 DUI in a lifetime.
Stable and consistent work history.
Successfully pass a DOT drug screen and hair follicle test.

Responsibilities

Drive CDL-A tractor-trailers on local or linehaul routes, depending on the position.
Perform forklift and dock operations in combination with driving.
For the night linehaul role, operate within approximately a 250-mile radius of the Brook Park terminal and return home daily.
For the day local role, operate within approximately a 60-mile radius of the Brook Park terminal and average 8–12 stops per day.
Transport consistent LTL freight.
