About The Position

Central Transport is hiring experienced CDL-A drivers for its Brook Park terminal, with Day Local and Night Linehaul opportunities. Both schedules combine driving with forklift and dock operations, offer home-daily schedules, and involve consistent LTL freight. The Night Linehaul position operates within approximately a 250-mile radius of the terminal and works Monday through Friday. The Day Local position operates within approximately a 60-mile radius and averages 8–12 stops per day. The posting highlights increased pay rates, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, and a newer truck fleet. Requirements

Valid CDL-A license.
At least 6 months of recent tractor-trailer experience for Night Linehaul.
HazMat and Tanker endorsements, or willingness to obtain them within the first 60 days of employment, for Night Linehaul.
Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
No DUI within the last 5 years and no more than 1 DUI in a lifetime.
Stable and consistent work history.
Successfully pass a DOT drug screen and hair follicle test.

Responsibilities

Drive CDL-A linehaul routes within approximately a 250-mile radius of the Brook Park terminal for the Night Linehaul position.
Perform forklift and dock operations as part of the Night Linehaul position.
Drive local routes within approximately a 60-mile radius of the Brook Park terminal for the Day Local position.
Perform forklift and dock operations as part of the Day Local position.
Complete an average of 8–12 stops per day on the Day Local position.
