About The Position
Central Transport is hiring Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Drivers operate local routes using modern equipment and are home every night. They represent the company in customer interactions and ensure freight is delivered on time and without damage. Drivers unload their trailers after completing their daily routes.
Requirements
- At least 3 months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
- HazMat and Tanker endorsements, or willingness to obtain them within 60 days.
- Acceptable motor vehicle record.
- No DUI convictions within the last 5 years and no more than one DUI in a lifetime.
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and hair follicle test.
Responsibilities
- Deliver customers’ freight on time and without damage.
- Unload the trailer upon completion of the daily route.
- Represent the company in customer relations.
