About The Position

This dedicated regional account offers CDL A drivers competitive pay that increases annually, with a starting rate of $0.70 per mile and a top rate of $0.84 per mile. Drivers will handle dedicated retail freight originating from Cowpens, SC, with deliveries spanning SC, NC, GA, AL, TN, KY, VA, WV, and OH. The role involves approximately 3 loads per week, with each load having about 3 stops. Deliveries require hand unloading with rollers, and there are no touch backhauls. Drivers can expect to be home weekly for their 34-hour reset, with time off either Friday night to Saturday or Saturday night to Sunday. The equipment provided is a late model automatic sleeper with a 53-foot dry van, and drivers may park at home if it is safe. A paid mentor ride-along is available for the first 3 loads at $175 per day.

Requirements

• 21 or older
• 3 months solo tractor-trailer experience
• Valid Class A CDL matching your current state
• No more than 2 moving violations in 3 to 5 years
• No preventable accidents in 3 to 5 years
• No DUI/DWI in the past 5 years
• No SAP drivers
• Pass hair and urine drug testing
• Live within 90 miles of Mount Airy, NC

Responsibilities

• Deliver dedicated retail freight
