CDL A Dedicated Driver - Home Weekly - $0.64 Per Mile

About The Position

Dedicated paper products account out of the Savannah area. Drivers will be home every week and earn $0.64 a mile. The schedule involves being out Sunday and back Friday, or out Monday and home Saturday, with approximately 1,600 miles driven per week. The freight is dedicated customer freight in GA, SC, NC, VA, FL, AL, and TN, with options for drop and hook, live loads, and preloads. New CDL holders will receive paid training with an experienced driver and weekly training pay.

Requirements

• Class A CDL, 21 or older.
• For new CDL holders: proof of 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school.
• For experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the past 5 years.
• 2 moving violations or fewer in 2 years.
• No major preventable accidents in 5 years.
• Clean DUI/DWI history for 5 to 10 years, based on when your CDL was obtained.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and hair and urine drug testing.
• Live within 25 miles of Savannah, GA.

Responsibilities

• Transport paper products for a dedicated customer account.
• Operate within GA, SC, NC, VA, FL, AL, and TN.
• Perform drop and hook, live load, and preload operations.
• Complete approximately 1,600 miles per week.
• Adhere to a schedule of being out Sunday to Friday, or Monday to Saturday.
• Participate in paid training if a new CDL holder.
