About The Position

Hinesville drivers: $0.70 a mile to start on no touch Southeast regional freight. New CDL holders welcome. This run offers a top start rate of $0.70 per mile, with a 1-cent increase every 7 months. The freight is dry and requires no unloading. The lanes are consistent, running through GA, NC, and SC, with the same lanes week to week. Drivers can expect an average weekly gross of $1,400 for about 1,800 miles a week, and will be home every 2 weeks. About half of the loads involve live load or live unload.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL.
• New CDL holders must have 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school.
• Experienced drivers must have 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• Valid license in current state of residence.
• Verifiable work history for the past 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
• No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 5 to 10 years.
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing.
• Live within 70 miles of Pooler, GA.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor trailer regionally within GA, NC, and SC.
• Transport dry freight with no unloading required.
• Follow consistent lanes week to week.
• Complete live loads or unloads as required (approximately half of loads).
• Participate in paid training with an experienced driver.
• Maintain a verifiable work history for the past 3 years.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Pass drug and alcohol testing.
