Sales Service Delivery Driver
About The Position
Deliver food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and other customers on local routes, building relationships with customers along the way. The role offers day shifts and routes that allow drivers to be home every day. Drivers unload cases weighing up to 100 pounds and use a ramp and two-wheeler during their shifts. Newly licensed drivers are encouraged to apply. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with start times between 3 AM and 5 AM and work continuing until the route is finished. Drivers receive daily base pay plus component pay for each mile driven, stop made, and case delivered. Average annual pay is $70,000–$80,000. Routes are guaranteed and employees are paid weekly.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have a Class A CDL at hire or obtain one within 90 days of the start date.
- Be able to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds.
- Successfully pass a drug test, including testing for marijuana, and a background check.
- Have a clean driving record that meets DOT and Gordon Food Service standards.
- Be registered with the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent.
