About The Position

Drive a dedicated regional dry van account for Dollar Tree, with freight originating in Cowpens, South Carolina. Drivers average approximately 1,100 miles and three loads per week, with about three stops per load. Deliveries cover South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, and Ohio. The role involves hands-on unloading at customer locations using rollers; backhauls to the distribution center are primarily no-touch live loads. The position offers approximately $1,750 in average weekly pay and up to $2,100 in top weekly pay, with mileage and stop pay. Drivers are home weekly and receive a weekly 34-hour reset. Days off are typically Friday night–Saturday or Saturday night–Sunday. The main yard and starting location is Cowpens, SC. Drivers near Cowpens may have access to designated equipment parking, and trucks may be taken home when parked safely and securely. Drivers use top-of-the-line automatic sleeper trucks and 53-foot dry van trailers.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
Comfort with hand unloading freight using rollers.
Ability to safely secure and park equipment.
Clean driving record.
DOT Medical Card.
Drivers with SAP are not accepted.

Responsibilities

Drive a dedicated regional dry van account serving Dollar Tree.
Transport freight from the Cowpens, SC account across the stated delivery territory.
Complete an average of three loads and approximately 1,100 miles per week.
Make approximately three stops per load.
Hand unload freight at customer locations using rollers.
