About The Position

American Trucking Group is hiring a full-time W-2 company driver for a dedicated retail freight account based in Charleston, West Virginia. Drivers earn $1,500 to $1,800 per week and are home weekly for a minimum 34-hour reset, typically scheduled during the week rather than on weekends.

Drivers haul retail store goods in a 53-foot dry van throughout the Southeast. Freight is 100% no-touch, with approximately 60% drop-and-hook and 40% live unload. Drivers average approximately 1,400 miles per week. Equipment consists of late-model Kenworth tractors, with some Freightliner and International tractors in the fleet; the average tractor age is approximately 2.8 years.

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Minimum 12 months of tractor-trailer experience within the last 36 months.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
• Ability to handle receipts, read maps, interpret road signs, and maintain required logs.
