About The Position

Drive for a dedicated regional intermodal fleet, hauling containers on chassis from terminals in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area to destinations across central and western Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, and western New York. Freight is no-touch, with drop-and-hook operations. The posting lists average weekly pay of $1,900 and top weekly pay of $2,300, with average annualized pay of $95,898 and top annualized pay of $118,117. Pay consists of mileage pay plus stop pay. Drivers may cover approximately 2,100 miles per week when managing their hours efficiently. Drivers are home weekly for a 34-hour reset, usually on weekends and sometimes during the week. The schedule is Sunday–Friday or Monday–Saturday. Drivers must have a safe, legal place to park the truck and container at home. Limited bobtail parking may be available for drivers who live near the port.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
At least 6 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
Clean driving record.
Valid DOT Medical Card.
No SAP drivers.
TWIC card required for hire; applicants may start the application process after applying for the card.
Obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 30 days.
A safe and legal home parking location for the truck and container.
