About The Position

We are hiring CDL-A drivers, including recent graduates from CDL school, to join our regional fleet. This position offers a structured training program for new drivers, with guaranteed pay during the initial weeks. After training, drivers will operate their own trucks, running routes primarily within Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and the Mid-South, with occasional runs to Missouri, Iowa, and Illinois. The role involves drop and hook, preloads, and live loads, with drivers typically home every two weeks.

Requirements

• Class A CDL
• Must be 21+ years old
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years
• No DUI/DWI in 10 years
• Pass DOT physical, hair, and urine drug screen
• No experience needed

Responsibilities

• Drive with a mentor for 3 to 5 weeks, completing approximately 200-250 hours of training.
• Practice backing into docks, planning trips, and maintaining logs.
• Operate a Freightliner truck (average 1.5 years old, automatic or 10-speed).
• Run a regional fleet out of Houston, covering states like Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Iowa, and Illinois.
• Complete 1,700–2,000 miles per week.
• Handle drop and hook, preloads, and live loads.
• Be home every 2 weeks.
• Accept $15 for each extra stop, beyond the first and last.
• Receive detention and layover pay.
• Allow an approved adult rider.
• Have one dog under 40 lbs allowed after training.
