You already know how to run OTR. What you want is a newer truck, loads that are ready when you are, and a check that doesn't shrink when a shipper makes you wait. That is what this seat is built around. Your planner lines up freight across the 48 states, mostly east of I-35. You hook, you drive, you drop. No unloading. If a shipper holds you past 2 hours, you earn $12.50 an hour. If you're stuck on a layover or a breakdown, you earn $100 a day. Most drivers stay out about 12 days and come home for 2, because that's where the miles are. If you'd rather come home more often, say so.
