About The Position

Wilmington-area CDL-A truck drivers can average $1,350–$1,500 per week running regional no-touch dry van freight. Drivers average 700–750 miles per haul, operate on a structured 12-day schedule, and return home for a full 48-hour reset every other weekend. This position combines longer regional runs with a majority of drop-and-hook freight and late-model automatic equipment. The fleet runs multi-state regional freight throughout established Southeast lanes. Average haul lengths are 700–750 miles, helping drivers build weekly mileage without relying entirely on short runs and frequent stops. Most freight is no-touch and drop-and-hook. Some live unload deliveries are included depending on the customer. Loads are planned ahead whenever possible to provide smoother transitions from one assignment to the next.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 3 months of recent tractor-trailer driving experience
Acceptable driving and safety record
Ability to meet DOT qualification and company safety requirements
