About The Position

The CCTV Operator operates a CCTV Camera Truck and contributes to construction and infrastructure projects by mapping out projects and performing field locating work. The role involves site inspections, interpreting project sheets and maps, creating digital locate sketches, attending safety meetings, and maintaining the vehicle and its inventory. The position requires customer interaction, work in varying weather conditions, variable shifts with extended hours, and travel up to 25%. Salary starts at $33.30 per hour, based on experience, with opportunities for pay increases and career advancement. Personal protective equipment is provided. Candidates must undergo a physical examination and pre-employment screening, including a driver’s abstract review and drug and alcohol test.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license.
Customer-service focus and comfort interacting with customers.
Technology adeptness.
Enthusiasm for working as part of a safety-focused, collaborative team.
Ability to work variable shifts with extended hours.
Willingness to travel up to 25%.
Ability to lift, push, and pull 50+ pounds and physical stamina for manual labor in varying weather conditions.
Must undergo a physical examination and pre-employment screenings, including driver’s abstract review and drug and alcohol test.

Nice To Haves

NASSCO Certification is preferred but not required.
CPR/First Aid, Fall Protection, and OSHA 10 certifications are preferred.
CCTV experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate field data electromagnetic induction locating equipment.
Perform project site inspections while reading project sheets and maps.
Attend safety meetings.
Operate and drive the computer service vehicle while maintaining inventory and safe storage.
Create digital locate sketches for job sites.
Operate a CCTV Camera Truck to map out projects.
