About The Position

Allied Universal® Enhanced Protection Services is hiring a CCTV Room Operator for its canine group. The operator continually views live surveillance footage from areas within the client site across multiple security monitors, evaluates suspicious activity and possible criminality, and scans images for suspicious people, packages, and behaviors. When incidents occur, the operator may assist in following individuals identified as participating in suspicious activities. The role also involves providing client service, following safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, responding to incidents, and conducting regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Pay is $30.67 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Possess, or be able to obtain, a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Card).
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• View live surveillance footage through various security systems and notify clients of suspicious activity.
• Evaluate suspicious activity and possible criminality.
• Visually scan monitored images for suspicious persons, packages, and behaviors.
• Assist in following individuals identified as participating in suspicious activities when incidents occur.
