About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated CBRN Defense and Nuclear Forces Integrator to support the U.S. Army in the U.S. European Command (EUCOM) Area of Responsibility (AOR). This role is critical to enhancing readiness and response capabilities against evolving CBRN threats by integrating CWMD, CBRN, and nuclear equities into command plans, exercises, and operations. You will collaborate closely with military and civilian staff, partner organizations, and other stakeholders to harmonize CBRN strategies and incorporate EUCOM’s equities pertaining to nuclear policy and deterrence.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with CWMD and CBRN defense operations and planning at the operational level
  • Experience with CBRN defense and nuclear forces concepts, operational planning, doctrine, policy analysis, and CWMD and CCMD-level processes and procedures
  • Experience with software tools and platforms for planning, communication, and analysis
  • Experience working in military or interagency planning environments, including at the Combatant Command, Service Component, or Joint Staff level
  • Ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail, work independently, and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time in support of U.S. Army missions and EUCOM objectives
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Completion of a JPME I Course

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with U.S. Army and EUCOM staff to integrate CWMD, CBRN defense capabilities, and nuclear policies into strategic and operational plans, ensuring alignment with mission objectives and priorities.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on CBRN defense-related matters during planning and coordinating meetings, exercises, and briefings.
  • Seek opportunities to integrate CBRN considerations into discussions and decision-making.
  • Analyze and assess potential CBRN threats and hazards that could impact EUCOM, develop strategies to mitigate risks, and enhance service and theater capabilities to respond effectively.
  • Evaluate CBRN infrastructure and survivability as it pertains to the EUCOM AOR.
  • Provide analytical support for the development of CWMD and CBRN defense-related exercise scenarios and training programs, and liaise with partner organizations, host nation agencies, and international partners to enhance interoperability and information sharing.
  • Stay current on emerging CBRN defense technologies, trends, and best practices relevant to the U.S. Army mission and EUCOM’s operational environment, and identify opportunities to integrate new technologies into existing systems and processes.
  • Provide recommendations for U.S. Army integration into EUCOM’s OAIs, assist with developing policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance, and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to CWMD and CBRN defense efforts.
  • Support Theater Nuclear Forces efforts and assess implications for future nuclear postures within the EUCOM AOR.
  • Provide analytical support to EUCOM equities within national constructs.
  • Participate in EUCOM working groups such as the Nuclear Enterprise Working Group and the CBRN and CWMD Working Group.
