About The Position

Academic, Rural and Regional Affairs (ARRA) has an outstanding opportunity for a CBME and Clinical Curriculum Program Coordinator. The CBME and Clinical Curriculum Program Coordinator supports innovative, student-centered learning through Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) and the Transition to Residency (TTR) program. This highly collaborative role is ideal for a detail-oriented coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven academic environment. About this Opportunity Reporting to the Assistant Director for Clinical Curriculum, this position provides essential coordination, communication, and operational support for faculty committees and courses that impact approximately 600 medical students annually. Your work ensures seamless execution of curriculum and assessment activities that directly support student success and faculty engagement. This position supports innovative, student-centered learning through Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) and the Transition to Residency (TTR) program. This highly collaborative role is ideal for a detail-oriented coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven academic environment.

Requirements

  • High school graduation or equivalent and two years of administrative or program support experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including editing and proof-reading.
  • Ability to work with different audiences and maintain professional relationships.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite and comfort learning new academic systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, education, liberal arts, or related field.
  • Experience supporting leadership positions.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Clinical Competency Committee (CCC) operations, including scheduling, agendas, meeting logistics, and accurate documentation.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for CBME-related communications, responding to student and faculty inquiries with professionalism and discretion.
  • Partner with curriculum leadership and analysts to support Clinical Competency Coaching activities, timelines, and materials.
  • Attend weekly TTR planning meetings to stay informed of evolving course plans and timelines.
  • Assist with scheduling communications, master schedule development, and room reservation coordination.
  • Support development and maintenance of spreadsheets used for session scheduling and upload into scheduling software (e.g., Sched).
  • Assist with assessing, organizing, staging, and tracking TTR instructional supplies.
  • Support open enrollment processes, including student sign-ups and schedule publication.
  • Maintain and clean master scheduling documents, including setup notes and logistical details.
  • Process student requests for session changes or schedule adjustments.
  • Inventory, pack, and store TTR supplies following course completion.
  • Coordinate distribution of course evaluations and faculty thank-you communications.
