About The Position

As Curriculum Coordinator, you’ll work closely to support the people in your school providing coaching and mentorship. In addition, you will have accountability for supporting teachers through training and ongoing mentorship, holding them accountable for meeting Kido expectations. You’ll help ensure learning spaces are organized, clean, and inviting. You will be hands-on helping to deliver a great learning experience for our children and support the team to meet curriculum aims and objectives. You will work closely with teachers in other classrooms to model effective teaching techniques. You will help to deliver the best and most up to date curriculum for our children. You’ll provide support for both the Assistant Director and the teaching staff by gathering resources, making copies, and suggesting best practices for curriculum implementation. You will encourage open lines of feedback and communication between colleagues, parents, and children. You’ll create meaningful relationships within your team and with parents to provide the best service for our families. You will have a willingness to jump in and celebrate successes with teachers and the ability to also acknowledge areas of growth and provide appropriate coaching and support for the team to meet their goals. Collaborating with the team to ensure that we are providing the best possible care and education to the children and families we serve. Offering recommendations about how we can improve our offerings and always push the boundaries of excellence.

Requirements

  • Must be Director Qualified per state of IL 407 Requirements
  • Must have 4+ years of experience in a licensed child care facility working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years
  • Undergo an enhanced fingerprint-based background check

  • Some ability to speak Spanish to support with our Spanish curriculum
