The House Majority Office (HMO) is seeking a strategic, politically savvy digital communicator to join our team as the Director of Digital Media. This newly created role is ideal for someone who understands Oregon’s political landscape, communicates with clarity and purpose, and knows how to build meaningful engagement across digital platforms. As the Director of Digital Media, you will shape the HMO’s online presence by developing content, messaging, and digital campaigns that reflect our caucus priorities and policy goals. Working closely with the Caucus Administrator and Communications Director, you will lead efforts to expand awareness, accessibility, and public engagement with the work of the HMO. This role requires a collaborative, team‑centered professional who can coordinate effectively with internal staff, legislators, and external partners to ensure consistent, accurate, and compelling messaging. Additionally, the successful candidate will stay current on digital communication best practices, analytics, and emerging tools to strengthen the HMO’s online presence. This is a full-time continuing position. The work of the Director of Digital Media takes place in the Capitol in Salem during legislative sessions and interim legislative days, with flexibility for remote work the rest of the year as business needs allow.
