About The Position
The Catholic Priest Chaplain ministers to patients, their families, and staff at Franciscan Health Lafayette East Campus. The chaplain provides the sacraments, offers Mass, and performs other staff chaplain duties as needed. The role also involves accurately processing information in a fast-paced environment using advanced keyboarding and data-entry skills. Travel of up to 20% is required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Theology or a related field.
- Ecclesiastical endorsement.
- Advanced keyboarding and data-entry skills.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree in Master of Divinity, Doctor of Divinity, Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies, or Master of Theology.
- One year of chaplain experience in a healthcare institution.
- Familiarity with the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Healthcare Services.
- Certification from the National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC) or The National Catholic Bioethics Center.
Responsibilities
