About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Nurse to join a dynamic team in a newly established hybrid room. The unit handles approximately 1–2 cases per day, focusing primarily on adult patients. The nurse provides care during endovascular procedures, administers moderate sedation, monitors patients throughout procedures, collaborates with medical staff, maintains proficiency with Cath Lab technology and equipment, and assists with patient preparation and recovery. A charge nurse is available in the Cath Lab for guidance and support. New employees receive a comprehensive orientation, including four 10-hour shifts with a designated preceptor during the initial week. Scrubs and free on-site parking are provided.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in a procedure area; an ICU background is preferred.
Cath Lab experience is required, including expertise in endovascular approaches and EVAR procedures.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
Registered Nurse (RN) with the South Dakota Board of Nursing.
Flexibility and willingness to learn and grow within the Cath Lab environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience in both Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology settings.
Specialization in endovascular cases.
ICU background.
Interest or ability to precept students.

Responsibilities
