About The Position

Under the general direction of a Cardiologist or Radiologist, the Cath Lab/IR Technologist assists with procedures by scrubbing or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiovascular lab. The technologist prepares the procedure room, monitors instrument and supply levels, participates in staff meetings and performance improvement activities, and helps train new staff. The role also assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Requirements

• ARRT-R certification and a state license as required, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification.
• BCLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain current certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab.
• Completion of a cardiovascular technologist training program emphasizing invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring.

Responsibilities
