PRIMARY FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Catering Manager and Supervisor(s), is responsible for timely, efficient, accurate service for guests and their food and beverage experience. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Must maintain a friendly, positive attitude and a professional demeanor at all times. Reports for scheduled event on time and reports to assigned area in a timely manner. Fulfills opening and closing duties as dictated by management and supervisors. Maintains the highest level of professionalism and service while abiding by Legends’ handbook and service standards. Efficiently sets up, maintains, and breaks down for all functions. Is knowledgeable of other food, beverage, and retail outlets within the stadium. Must have extensive knowledge of food and beverage menus, specials, and services offered. Abides by Legends Sequence of Service when interacting with guests. Maintains a clean, neat, and safe work environment. Communicates professionally with Supervisors and Management. Works as a team with fellow associates and other service departments within all areas of the stadium. Performs and successfully completes tasks assigned by management and supervisors. Responsible for retrieving product, smallwares, food and/or beverage for assigned location on event day. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Catering or food and beverage experience preferred; orientation and on-the-job training are provided. Must be pleasant, polite, courteous, and enjoy working with people. Must be able to work in a team environment. Must be able to remain calm under stressful situations. Must be able to smile, maintain positive body language, and consistently provide positive guest service. Must be able to follow direction and accept responsibility for assigned tasks. Must be able to open and properly serve alcohol. Must be able to make generalizations, evaluations, and decisions without immediate supervision. Must be able to accept and carry out responsibility for directions. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be at least 18 years old Must be willing to work hours that vary, according to the event schedule Must be able to work at a fast pace Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be willing to stand for long hours Required Certifications: CA Food Handlers Certification CA Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification Union Membership: This position is represented by Unite Here Local 11. Please note that union dues are required as part of membership. Compensation: $18.90 - $21.00 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions.
