About The Position

Rōti® is looking for a relationship-driven, results-oriented Catering Sales Representative to help grow its catering business across the Minneapolis and Washington, DC markets. In this part-time role (25 hours per week), you will serve as the face of Rōti catering in your assigned markets—building relationships with local businesses, identifying new opportunities, and creating memorable catering experiences that keep customers coming back. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys connecting with people, thrives in a fast-paced sales environment, and is motivated by achieving measurable results. You will partner closely with restaurant operations and marketing teams to drive catering revenue while introducing more guests to Rōti's fresh, flavorful Mediterranean cuisine. The role is remote, supporting the Minneapolis and Washington, DC markets, with occasional travel (approximately 5%).

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in catering sales, outside sales, hospitality sales, restaurant sales, or business development.
  • Proven ability to generate new business and build long-term customer relationships.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new catering business through outbound calls, emails, networking, and local community outreach.
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, offices, schools, healthcare organizations, and community partners.
  • Respond promptly to catering inquiries and guide customers through the ordering process from initial contact through delivery.
  • Meet or exceed catering sales goals by proactively generating new business and growing existing accounts.
  • Conduct local sales visits, food tastings, and customer meetings to promote the Rōti catering experience.
  • Partner with restaurant teams to ensure seamless execution and exceptional customer service for every catering order.
  • Maintain an organized pipeline of leads, opportunities, and customer activity within CRM and other sales tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on local promotions, community partnerships, and catering campaigns to drive awareness.
  • Monitor market activity, identify new sales opportunities, and provide insights to support continued business growth.
  • Represent the Rōti brand with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a customer-first mindset.
