About The Position

The Catering Sales Manager at Oracle Park is responsible for coordinating food and beverage arrangements for group meetings and special events. This role supports catering functions with building operations, the culinary department, and the catering department, along with the building sales team focused on revenue growth. The position involves booking and detailing events, networking for new sales opportunities, conducting sales blitzes, and other marketing efforts to drive sales growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years previous experience in Catering Sales or related field.
  • Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales, marketing or related field
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills, the ability to maintain composure, and the ability to make quick decisions. Requires effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Requires experience with catering sales software programs and usage of Microsoft Team, Outlook and Excel
  • Must work well independently

Responsibilities

  • Greet and provide service to all clients/groups to ensure satisfaction.
  • Follow up with all clients through phone calls, letters, and site tours to secure contracts and ensure customer happiness.
  • Input data to generate contracts, update client files, and enter information into sales software.
  • Participates in special projects as needed.
  • Proactively soliciting and managing group/catering related opportunities with significant revenue potential.
  • Creates Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to review with clients.
  • Partner with the culinary team to create customized menus to fit client’s needs increase food & beverage revenues.
  • During the event, will ensure the meeting arrangements are to the event planner’s specifications.
  • Communicates and collaborates with other departments to provide quality services for all groups.
  • Attend weekly meetings for aging/billing, business review, and sales meetings.
  • Follows Aramark policies and procedures and safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
