About The Position

About the Role We are seeking a Catering Sales Manager to grow event revenue by building client relationships, coordinating tailored proposals, and guiding opportunities from inquiry through booking. This role is well suited for someone who communicates confidently with clients, manages multiple opportunities at once, and follows established processes to ensure accurate, high-quality execution.

  • Ability to manage multiple active opportunities in a fast-moving environment
  • Comfort following defined processes for proposals, contracts, and event documentation
  • Careful attention to detail in written communication, pricing, and booking accuracy
  • Ability to coordinate effectively across internal teams to support a smooth client experience
  • Prior experience in catering sales, hospitality sales, event sales, or a related client-facing role
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, proposal tools, and contract documentation
  • Availability to support client meetings, site visits, and event-related scheduling needs as required

Responsibilities

  • Respond to catering inquiries, qualify client needs, and develop proposals aligned with event requirements and venue capabilities
  • Build and maintain client relationships throughout the sales process, from initial outreach through contract confirmation
  • Manage a pipeline of catering opportunities, track activity accurately, and maintain timely follow-up across multiple accounts
  • Coordinate with operations, culinary, and event teams to ensure booked events are documented clearly and handed off smoothly
  • Prepare contracts, pricing details, and event documentation in accordance with company standards and approval processes
  • Monitor sales activity and revenue progress, providing regular updates and forecasts to leadership
