About The Position

Hightop Hospitality is seeking a hands-on Catering Operations & Events Manager to lead execution across our growing, multi-brand catering division. This role takes ownership of events in the final planning phase, ensuring each is operationally sound, fully prepared, and executed at a consistently high standard. You will translate detailed event plans into seamless, high-quality guest experiences. You’ll collaborate closely with sales, culinary, and venue partners to align expectations and build clear, executable plans for service teams. Working alongside Event Leads (Captains), you’ll provide oversight, support, and accountability for execution. On event days, you’ll be actively involved—directing teams, managing setup and flow, and ensuring every detail is delivered with precision. We’re looking for a highly detail-oriented leader who values structure, communicates proactively, and builds confidence through strong organization and follow-through. Events range from intimate, high-touch gatherings to large-scale functions of 500+ guests across the Twin Cities, surrounding suburbs, and occasional regional venues.
