About The Position

Catering Manager 2 – Sodexo Corporate Services Join a dynamic hospitality team and bring exceptional guest experiences to life. Location: Synchrony | Stamford, CTSchedule: Primarily 10:00 AM–8:00 PM with event‑based flexibility | Occasional weekend events (1–2 per year) Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking an energetic, organized, and customer‑focused Catering Manager 2 to support our high‑profile client site at Synchrony in Stamford, CT. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee a diverse and vibrant catering program that includes: Incentives M-F 10am to 8pm, 1-2 weekends a year As our Catering Manager 2, you’ll be the operational heartbeat of our catering program—leading events from initial inquiry to flawless execution. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced setting, loves building client relationships, and delivers hospitality with excellence.

Requirements

  • Minimum Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum Management Experience - 1 year

Responsibilities

  • End‑to‑end event management:Coordinating catering requests, entering orders in CaterTrax, creating Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), and ensuring all details are flawlessly executed.
  • Client partnership:Meeting with clients to review and detail events, understand their vision, and deliver exceptional service.
  • Operational leadership:Overseeing set‑up, execution, and breakdown of events; ensuring all catering deliveries are timely and accurate.
  • Team management:Leading a talented team of four—including a Catering Supervisor, two Catering Attendants, and a Pantry Attendant who supports catering operations.
  • Daily logistics & quality control:Maintaining smooth day‑to‑day catering flow, upholding service standards, and ensuring high‑quality presentation and guest experience.
