About The Position

Catering Hospitality Supervisor supports the successful execution of catered events by providing front-of-house leadership and coordinating closely with the back-of-house culinary team. This position serves as a key connection between clients, catering operations, culinary staff, and event employees to ensure events are organized, properly staffed, and executed according to client expectations.

Requirements

  • Requires a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing world-class service to the client, guests, and co-workers.
  • A strong knowledge of personal computers is essential.
  • Experience in all facets of providing guest services.
  • Must be able to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with others.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Must be able to read, write, and clearly speak English

Nice To Haves

  • Preferably two years in hospitality services or like environment performing like duties as Guest Services or Concierge’s supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise front-of-house catering operations during events.
  • Coordinate with the BOH culinary team to ensure food production, timing, presentation, and service align with event requirements.
  • Help ensure client expectations are clearly communicated and executed.
  • Confirm event details, including guest counts, event times, menu selections, room setup, service expectations, and special requests.
  • Assist with catering inquiries and event sales.
  • Follow up on missing or changing event information and communicate updates to the appropriate catering and culinary team.
  • Communicate with clients to gather all necessary information for upcoming events.
  • Identify opportunities to support catering sales and repeat business through strong client relationships and service.
  • Design and implement training programs to ensure that all staff are well-versed in daily job functions, safety awareness, and Aramark policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for ordering, storing and inventory of all supplies necessary to perform daily operations.
  • Verify that event spaces are ready before client and guest arrival.
  • Assist with resolving service concerns or last-minute changes during events.
  • Coordinate the return, cleaning, storage, and organization of catering equipment and supplies following events.
